After more than three decades of exceptional service, we mark the retirement of our long standing Farm Manager, Trevor Watson — a figure whose name has become synonymous with commitment, reliability, and deep rooted knowledge of our industry.
Trevor began his journey with us in 1991, stepping into a role that would shape not only the success of our operations but also the experiences of countless growers over the years. His leadership was steady, practical, and always grounded in genuine care for the people he worked with. At his peak, Trevor managed an extraordinary season with 45 growers on the books — a testament to both his organisational skill and the trust the company could place in him.
His dedication often went far beyond the expected. One story that has become part of company legend is Trevor’s drive from Bordeaux all the way to the Isle of Wight, ensuring that vital work could continue without interruption. It’s the kind of commitment that can’t be taught — the kind that comes from pride in one’s work and loyalty to the people around him.
As Trevor steps into a well earned retirement, we know his presence will be deeply missed. His loyalty, his calm under pressure, and his unwavering dedication have set a standard that will be hard to replace. While we celebrate this milestone with him, we also recognise the lasting impact he leaves behind.
From everyone here: thank you, Trevor, for everything. Your legacy will continue to shape our work for many years to come.
