Eldred Group started 40 years ago where we began our trade as a potato merchant and agriculture is at the heart of our organisation and continues to so at the Hatfield site. Within The Eldred Group, James Ruane (Yorks) ltd. are a prevalent potato merchant which store over 16000 tonnes of potatoes in stores across the site, all temperature controlled. This is for several of the leading organisations within the crisp industry and we grow, store and distribute these across the country.
